According to public records, the land transaction was completed on the 18th of April. The property is located in Elikatta Village within Farooqnagar Mandal of the Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad, Telangana. The price per acre is Rs 5.56 crore. This shows the value Microsoft places on this location.

Sai Balaji Developers, a land aggregator, played an important role in the facilitation of this transaction. Microsoft has yet to comment officially on the specifics of this acquisition. However, experts in the industry believe that Microsoft's intention is to build a large data center facility on newly purchased land.
